In this 1 day workshop you will get to torture and tickle your paper by stamping, gessoing, scraping with strange instruments, plastering, papering, and painting with unique paints, all to achieve a variety of interesting textures. This goes beyond basic texturing and includes new ways to use plastic wrap, waxed paper, found materials and super granulating paints.

Aquabord will be an acceptable entry into the Florida Watercolor Show for the next five years.  Learn techniques for painting on this new ground.   It accepts paint differently than paper, offering new challenges and opportunities.  Once sealed Aquabord requires no glazing or matting.  Fixative and varnish provided.  Participants provide their own Aquabord.
